Yesterday the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit Gala took place in New York at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. This years Co-Chair was actress Jennifer Lawrence and the theme was China Through The Looking Glass. This annual gala is the opening night for this years special exhibition that show's china's influence in western fashion.
Anne Hathaway wore a beautiful golden Ralph Lauren dress with a hood and a simple silhouette. Selena Gomez wore a stunning white Vera Wang dress with a black strap detail and styled her look with Lorraine Schwartz Jewelry. Dakota Johnson wore a stunning Chanel Haute Couture dress accessorized with Bally ankle strap sandals and great bag in the shape of a Harajuku girl and a lovely new hair cut we just love. Kate Hudson wore an eye-catching golden Michael Kors dress that she styled with an Edie Parker Fiona Faceted in iridescent abalone with gold glitter facet detail and gold hardware and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. Jennifer Lawrence wore a really beautiful Dior Haute Couture dress with a very special neckline or neck detail. Helen Mirren looked stunning in her red Dolce & Gabbana dress with lace like cut out detailing in the top, sleeves and skirt and we really like the statement earrings she accessorized with the dress. Lily Collins wore a very nice Chanel outfit with a tule skirt with a flower print on the bottom combined with a black sheer blouse and t-strap sandals. It looked very Audrey Heburn aseptically with the birdcage veil. We love it! One of our favorites is Emily Blunt in a light blue Prada dress and Anna Hu Haute Joaillerie Jewels. Person of Intrest's Taraji looked really elegant in a black and white Balenciaga dress. Kate Beckinsale looked stylish in a gold colored Diane von Furstenberg dress. Julianne Moore looks fantastic in a black Givenchy Haute Couture dress. Poppy Delevingne wore a stunning red Marchesa gown accessorized with an Edie Parker Fiona Faceted in gold and silver square confetti with obsidian sand facet detail and black hardware. And of course Claire Danes, she wore a dark green Valentino Couture Fall 2014 dress with a black leather waist belt. But her eye-catcher was her make up with her dark lips. Beautiful!
